— HYPNOSIS FOR PHOBIAS IN SYDNEY AND ONLINE
Hypnotherapy for Phobias and Specific Fears in Sydney and Online
Nothing is more frustrating than when a fear starts deciding what you can and cannot do. You may know logically that you are safe, but your body still reacts with panic, dread or an urge to escape.
ā
Whether it is flying, driving, needles, insects or another specific trigger, hypnotherapy can help reduce the intensity of the response and make everyday choices feel less controlled by fear.
I help you work with the pattern beneath that reaction so you can feel calmer, more confident and less restricted by it.
Calm, personalised hypnotherapy with practical support for real situations.

You can understand the fear and still feel unable to stop it.
How hypnotherapy for phobias can help
You might know the plane is designed to fly safely. You might know the spider is unlikely to hurt you. You may trust your driving ability or understand that a medical procedure is necessary.
ā
But when the trigger appears, your body can react before logic has time to catch up. Your heart races. Your breathing changes. Your mind scans for danger. You may feel trapped, shaky, nauseous or desperate to get away.
ā
Sometimes the fear begins days or weeks beforehand. Avoidance can bring temporary relief, but it may also start restricting your travel, health, work or everyday choices.
Hypnotherapy for phobias is not about forcing you to face something before you are ready.
It is about helping the automatic fear response become less intense and less able to make decisions for you.
Phobias and fears I work with
Phobias can develop around almost any situation, object or experience. Some begin after a frightening event. Others seem to have been present for as long as you can remember.
ā
I commonly support people with fears relating to:
This list is not exhaustive. What matters is how the fear affects your day-to-day life and what you would like to be able to do differently.
ā
If your anxiety appears mainly when speaking in meetings, giving presentations or being evaluated at work, you may find Anxiety in Meetings & Public Speaking more relevant.
Why logic may not stop a phobia
A phobia is not simply a thought you can reason yourself out of.
ā
At some point, your mind and body have learned to associate a particular trigger with danger. Once that association is activated, the reaction can happen quickly and automatically—even when another part of you knows that you are probably safe.
ā
That is why reassurance, facts and positive thinking may help briefly but fail when you are confronted with the actual trigger.
ā
Hypnotherapy allows us to work with the deeper associations maintaining the response, while also building practical ways to help your body feel steadier in real situations.ā
ā
Sometimes a specific fear sits within a broader pattern of anxiety, persistent worry, panic or self-doubt. In that case, the work may need to address more than the immediate trigger. You can read more about Hypnotherapy for Anxiety in Sydney, or we can discuss the most appropriate focus during your first session.
FEAR OF FLYING HYPNOTHERAPY
When the trip starts feeling frightening long before take-off
You may want to travel, visit family or take a holiday, yet booking a flight can trigger weeks of dread.
ā
The fear is not always about the plane itself. It may centre on feeling trapped, losing control, turbulence, bodily sensations or the fear of panicking with no way to leave.
Common fear-of-flying triggers:
-
Booking the flight or seeing the confirmation
ā
-
Take-off, turbulence or unfamiliar sounds
ā
-
Feeling trapped once the doors close
ā
-
Fear of panic during the flight
ā
-
Catastrophic thoughts about what may happen
What change may look like
-
Booking a flight without weeks of escalating dread
ā
-
Staying steadier during turbulence
ā
-
Driving a route you previously avoided
ā
-
Attending a blood test or medical appointment
ā
-
Using lifts, bridges or enclosed spaces more easily
ā
-
Feeling less anticipatory fear and avoidance
ā
-
Trusting that you can cope even if some anxiety appears

“Progress does not have to mean feeling nothing. It is to help the fear becomes less dominant and so you can control your choices and enjoy your life more.”
01
Understanding your fear
During your first session we explore the trigger, what your mind predicts and how your body responds.
02
Working with the underlying response
During your second hypnosis session we look at the root cause of your fear. We work with the associations and emotional learning that may be keeping the fear active.
03
Reinforcing the change
You receive a personalised hypnosis recording to support the work after sessions and integrate the new response. This is an important step for making results permanent.
What happens during phobia hypnotherapy
A CLEAR SUPPORTED PROCESS
My approach is calm, structured and personalised.
I do not use the same script for every fear. We first clarify how the phobia operates for you.
ā
The work is guided by clear therapeutic frameworks, but adapted to what you need rather than forced into a rigid formula.
ā
The process includes focused hypnotherapy sessions, a personalised hypnosis audio and a follow-up integration call.
ā
Each stage is adapted to the way your fear operates and what you need.ā

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
Begin with your hypnotherapy for phobias session in Sydney or online
Your first session is the beginning of the full programme. The programme is designed as a complete therapeutic process rather than a one-off session.
ā
This first session gives us the space to understand the fear in detail, begin the hypnosis work and prepare for the deeper work that follows.
ā
The programme is intended for clients who are genuinely ready to work on the fear and engage with the process. At the end of the first session, we will confirm whether you would like to continue. If you decide that hypnotherapy is not the right approach for you, you can choose not to proceed and the remaining balance will not be charged.
Book your first session
$250
During this session, we will look in detail at what is happening for you, how the fear is affecting your life and what you would like to change. We will also begin the process with my signature Change Inducing Hypnosis.
ā
The first session is $250. If you continue with the complete process, the remaining $650 is payable before your second session.
That is clearer and makes it obvious that the $250 forms part of the full $900 process.
